Did you know that you can make your hard-boiled eggs into cute bunnies and lovable bears? Simply prepare your hardboiled egg and, while it is still hot, peel it and place it in the shaper, closing the lid slowly and snapping it shut. Place the egg shaper in cold water for ten minutes or until chilled. Open the shaper and carefully remove the egg. Voila!

Bananas are one of the top five most-consumed fruits in the US. Their sweet flavor, smooth texture and built-in packaging make them a a versatile kitchen ingredient and delicious on-the-go snack. Bananas have a complicated genetic makeup; it is considered not only a fruit, but a nut and berry as well! The most common banana, found in our grocery stores, is the Cavendish Banana. Bananas are an excellent source of vitamin B6, and soluble fiber. They contain moderate amounts of vitamin C, manganese and potassium. You can keep your bananas from ripening too quickly by storing them on the counter in a paper bag or container that blocks light. When bananas do become spotty or very ripe, bake them into banana bread or puree them with a dash of cocoa powder into a raw, vegan pudding!

"It occurred to me today that my daughter will be entering 7th grade in a few weeks and her laptop lunchbox that I bought for kindergarten is still going strong! Little brother's is too. So, for those who think the Laptop Lunches bento box costs too much, consider how much you can save by buying only one, instead of a new one each year.”

    SO CUTE!
“I love the colors of the containers in the Garden Bento Buddies system. They are so stinking cute… What's great about the containers is that they nest within one another, making the most of the space you have. Seeing as we seem to be VERY limited on lunch box space (ask Hubby!), this is an extra great feature for us!"
