The perfectly inventive sandwich to make during raspberry season.
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup smooth peanut butter
- 2 Tbs. raspberry jam, 100% pure fruit
- ½ tsp. 100% pure maple syrup,
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup raspberries, fresh
- 4 slices whole-wheat sandwich bread
Directions:
1. Mix together peanut butter, syrup, vanilla and raspberry jam until well blended. .
2. Spread nut butter mixture on both top and bottom pieces of bread.
3. Press fresh raspberries into spread.
4. Press sandwich gently together (this will keep berries from falling out).
