Going Nutty

With the holidays right around the corner it's hard not to feel a little nuts, so we've decided to honor our nuttiness in this week's bento lunch. Seeds and nuts are filled with protein, antioxidants, fiber, and omega-3's, so they're actually a great way to keep your body going throughout the holiday season.

Menu

  • Cashew Butter Sandwich
  • Garden Salad with Italian Dressing
  • Trail Mix
  • Baby Jazz Apple

Preparation Notes

Spread cashew butter onto a piece of whole grain bread. Halve the bread and cut out some fun shapes. Place your completed 1/2 cashew sandwich in one of your large containers.

Mix together a garden salad for your other large container. We used lettuce, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots and sunflower seeds.

Fill your dip container with your favorite salad dressing and put into your large container with your salad.

Fill one of your medium containers with a mixture of dried fruit and nuts.

Put a small, baby jazz apple into your other medium container.
